Frequently asked questions
- Does ClinicShifts book patient appointments or integrate with our EHR?
- No. ClinicShifts schedules providers: who works at which office or service, and when. Patient appointments stay in your EHR or practice management system, ClinicShifts doesn't integrate with it, and no patient data enters ClinicShifts.
- Can we schedule EMG and procedure time separately from clinic?
- Yes. Set up each service you schedule as its own location, for example “North office – EMG”, and it gets its own row on the board and its own live link. Shifts can also require a role, so only providers with that role are suggested.
- Do physicians and advanced practitioners both count as seats?
- Anyone who can be assigned to shifts counts as one seat at $10 per month. Administrators who never take a shift are free, and office staff don't need an account at all: each office's live link opens without a login.
